Dr. Hawass attends a book signing with photographer Sandro Vannini for his latest book, A Secret Voyage, which tells the story of his adventures in archaeology.  The book signing took place in the Gold Room of the Manial Palace in Cairo, which was part of a palace built by Prince Mohamad Ali Tawfiq in 1900, on Roda island in the Nile.  The Gold Room is a very beautiful space, the perfect place to have an event celebrating this book.  (Photo: Jennifer Willoughby)
