Please read my newest article found in the September 2010 issue of National Geographic! This article discusses the lineage of Tutankhamun, which was discovered through DNA analysis and CT scans on Tutankhamun and several previously unidentified mummies. This testing was done as part of the Egyptian Mummy Project, which is conducting DNA and CT scan tests on all of the royal mummies in the Egyptian Museum, Cairo in an attempt to identify family lines, disease, causes of death, etc. (Photo: Kenneth Garrett)
