Dr. Hawass in his office in Zamalek with Emily McNeice. Emily’s family attended Dr. Hawass’ lecture in Atlanta. The Fox Theatre in Atlanta was filled for the lecture, and the audience was enthusiastic. At the end of the lecture, Dr. Hawass invited several children onto the stage, including Emily. The McNeice family attends all of Dr. Hawass’ lectures that they can, they drove from Michigan to Georgia to attend this lecture. They were very excited when their daughter was called onstage to meet Dr. Hawass, they felt this was a big moment in her life. He invited them to Egypt on an expense paid trip through the Abercrombie & Kent Company. When they visited Egypt in October, they were able to visit Dr. Hawass at his office, and Emily was very happy to see her hero in person again.
