I was recently honored by the El-Samra Foundation for Environment and Sustainable Development (EESD) in Alexandria. I gave a lecture to an auditorium full of students and professors from the University of Alexandria on the work that the SCA is doing to preserve Egyptian monuments. After my lecture I took questions from the students and was then presented with an award for the work I've done to preserve and sustain Egypt's cultural heritage. I thank the EESD for this honor and I hope that they continue their good work in the future. (Photo: Meghan E. Strong)
