Zahi Hawass is a rock star. Well, not exactly, but he might as well be. He strode to the stage of McFarlin Auditorium at Southern Methodist University on Tuesday night but not before being warmly introduced – by Laura Bush, the former first lady, making her first public appearance in Dallas since she and her husband left the White House.
