People often ask me, ‘well, it’s not really as exciting as Indiana Jones, now is it?’
I reply, ‘to an archaeologist, yes, it certainly is!’

Atlanta Lecture Rescheduled! Now at the Fox Theater, 7:30 PM, March 26th!
Date:
March 26, 2009 7:30pm

I am very sorry to announce that due to unforeseen circumstances - an unexpected obligation that I must carry out in my capacity as Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities - I will not be able to be in Atlanta on March 19th as I had planned. Fortunately, though, we have been able to reschedule my lecture for 7:30 PM on March 26, at the historic Fox Theater!

If you have a ticket for the Civic Center on March 19th, you will be able to use that ticket for admission at the Fox on the 26th. There is no need to make an exchange. I hope that everyone will be able to attend in spite of the change of date. If, however, you cannot come on the 26th, you can call Ticketmaster (1-800-653-8000) for a refund any time before the end of the day on Wednesday, March 25th. Tickets will still be available for purchase up until the time of the event.

For more information, you can visit: www.carlos.emory.edu, www.kingtut.org, or www.ticketmaster.com.
