Egyptian archaeologists have found more than 20 mummies in a burial chamber dating back at least 2,600 years. In front of a BBC camera, the stone coffin, sealed by mortar was pried open. The mummy is still in perfect condition. Zahi Hawass explains that they will do a CT scan on the mummy, because it is most likely to contain amulets inside.
There were also mummies found in niches, carved in the walls: the mummy of a young child, and even a favourite pet: a dog. Archeologist believe what they found so far, is barely a thrid of what is still hidden.
