
Upcoming lecture in Italy
FLORENS 2010 is an international week-long celebration of cultural and environmental world heritage. The event will take place from November 13 – 20, 2010 in Florence, Italy. Throughout the week over 150 events are planned including an international forum on world heritage and ten exhibitions.
The goal of FLORENS 2010 is to promote cultural and environmental world heritage as a platform of economic and social development to suggest an innovative model of golden economy and industrial revaluation of the cultural and environmental world heritage.Zahi Hawass will give a special guest lecture on November 20th at 9:30 AM in the Forum. The lecture will focus on his most important discoveries to date and the latest news from the sands of Egypt. At 4:00 PM he will open the photographic exhibition of Sandro Vannini "Elaborazioni d'Egitto" at Tethys Gallery and he will present the book "A Secret Voyage" by Zahi Hawass and Sandro Vannini.
