Dr. Hawass met around 200 of our Egyptian youth today at the NMEC auditorium. The lecture was one of the first of its kind to accommodate an inclusive environment for the specially-abled. The lecture was so successful and appealing to the young men and women, who had so many questions for Dr. Hawass. He also gave them all a signed copy of his book about Tutankhamun, published by the Egyptian publishing house Nahdet Masr.

This week witnessed a magnificent celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Stefano Ricci company. The celebration and the runway show took place at the foot of the Deir el Bahari Temple and a luxurious dinner was held at the Luxor Temple. This event was made possible thanks to the efforts of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, Dr. Mustafa Waziry, and Dr. Zahi Hawass, who initiated the invitation.
